Built because fuel-price apps could be calmer
I built PumpPilot as a solo side project because I wanted a cleaner way to compare UK fuel prices: clear station rows, UK units, useful route stops and fewer distractions.
A small, practical project
I am a UK driver, and the problem felt simple enough to be annoying: fuel prices matter, but the best choice is not always the station with the lowest number. Distance, detour, freshness and station context all matter too.
PumpPilot is my attempt to make those choices easier without pretending the data is perfect. It is free to use and has no ads. Premium exists for features that cost more to run or need extra maintenance, such as Route Map, Android Auto, longer history and additional active alerts.
